Privacy Policy
Who is responsible for your data
ClearArcane is responsible for the data collected through this site and its waitlist forms. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect only the minimum information needed to manage it:
- your email address
- basic waitlist details, such as the page where you signed up
- limited technical and consent records needed to manage the waitlist properly
Analytics and device information
The site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand page visits, reading interactions, traffic sources, and general device or browser information. Analytics identifiers and cookies may be used by Google when the analytics container is active.
Analytics data is used to improve the site and understand which reading formats are useful. It is not used to make automated decisions about you. A consent-management review remains part of the pre-monetization compliance work before the service expands.
Why we use it
We use waitlist data only to manage early-access interest and to notify you when deeper readings or related follow-up features launch.
We do not intend to use this waitlist as a general marketing list unless that purpose is clearly explained and separately accepted.
Why we can process it
The legal basis for processing waitlist data is your consent. You provide that consent by actively submitting the form and accepting the privacy terms shown next to it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data only for as long as it is needed to manage the launch, notify interested users, and keep a minimal record of consent. If you ask for deletion, we will remove your data unless there is a legal reason to keep a limited record.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting and database infrastructure. Google provides analytics and tag-management services. These providers may process limited technical information in countries outside your own under their applicable data-protection arrangements.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent at any time by writing to [email protected].
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
